Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of video production and same-day video services by MF Video Todays, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

MF Video Today provides video production services, including but not limited to:

  • Same-day video creation

  • Event video coverage

  • Corporate video production

  • Social media video content

  • Editing and post-production services

The exact scope of work will be defined in a written agreement, booking confirmation, or proposal.

 

2. Booking & Payment Terms

A booking is confirmed only after:

  • Written agreement on scope and pricing

  • Receipt of required deposit or full payment

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • A deposit may be required to secure the booking date.

  • The remaining balance is due before final delivery of materials.

Late payments may result in delayed delivery.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate event details and schedule

  • Ensure filming access to the venue/location

  • Obtain all necessary permits if required

  • Secure consent from individuals being filmed (see GDPR clause)

  • Provide clear creative direction where applicable

Delays caused by missing information or restricted access are not the responsibility of MF Video Today.

 

4. Filming Consent & GDPR Compliance

The Client is solely responsible for obtaining consent from all individuals appearing in the video content where legally required.

MF Video Today operates in accordance with GDPR and Swiss data protection laws but does not assume responsibility for securing participant permissions unless explicitly agreed in writing.

The Client indemnifies MF Video Today against any claims arising from failure to obtain proper consent.

 

5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • MF Video Today retains copyright ownership of the created video materials.

  • The Client receives a non-exclusive license to use the final delivered video for agreed commercial or promotional purposes.

  • Raw footage is not included.

MF Video Today reserves the right to use excerpts of the work for portfolio, website, and social media promotion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

6. Creative Control

The Client acknowledges that:

  • Video production involves creative interpretation.

  • Final editing decisions, including music selection, pacing, and visual style, remain within professional discretion, aligned with the agreed brief.

Reasonable revisions are included as specified in the agreement. Additional revisions may incur extra fees.

 

7. Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery services require immediate allocation of editing resources.

While every effort is made to meet agreed timelines, delivery times may be affected by:

  • Technical issues

  • Force majeure

  • Event delays

  • Factors outside reasonable control

The evening events videos (if they finish after 19:00) are to be delivered by 14:00 on the following day unless otherwise agreed.

 

8. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are governed by the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy published on this website.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

MF Video Today shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of revenue, reputation, or opportunity

  • Technical issues caused by third-party platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service.

 

10. Force Majeure

MF Video Today is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Technical breakdowns

  • Illness

  • Event cancellation by organizer

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
