Refund & Cancellation Policy

At MF Video Today, we believe in delivering high-quality, professional video services with clarity, fairness, and respect for both your needs and our production commitments. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, postponements, and adjustments are handled for all services, including same-day video production.

1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

When you place an order or request a service, you will receive a confirmation with the agreed service details and pricing. A deposit or full payment may be required before work begins. Your booking is confirmed only after receipt of payment.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. However, because our services involve scheduling production time, equipment, crew, and editing resources, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the scheduled service:
    You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund of any payments already made, minus a small administrative fee if applicable.

  • Cancellation 48–14 days before the scheduled service:
    You may receive a 50% refund of the service fee already paid. This reflects the planning and preparation work already completed.

  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled service:
    Unfortunately, no refund is available. At this point, pre-production, scheduling, and logistics are already in motion and cannot be reallocated.

 

3. Rescheduling

We are happy to reschedule services if needed. Rescheduling requests must be received at least 48 hours before the original scheduled time to avoid potential rescheduling fees. Rescheduled bookings are subject to our availability.

 

4. Same-Day & Urgent Services

Same-day video creation services require special scheduling and rapid deployment of production resources. As such:

  • Same-day service fees are non-refundable once the project has been accepted and preparation has begun.

  • If unforeseen events (e.g., extreme weather, safety risks) prevent completion of the service, we will work with you to reschedule or offer a partial credit toward future services.

 

5. Refund Requests

To request a refund, please contact us at the email or phone number listed on your booking confirmation. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method wherever possible, and we aim to process approved refunds within 14-30 business days.

 

6. Changes to Deliverables

If you feel your final video does not meet the agreed-upon specifications, please notify us within a business day of delivery. We will assess the request and, where reasonable, provide 2 rounds (maximum 1 hour each) of corrective edits at no extra cost. Our goal is your satisfaction, and we prioritise fairness and professional integrity.

 

7. Non-Refundable Items

Any third-party fees (such as licensed music, location permits, or hired specialists) that have already been paid on your behalf are non-refundable should your project be cancelled.

 

8. GDPR, Data Protection & Filming Consent

My Video Express operates in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant Swiss data protection laws.

Client Responsibility for Filming Consent

The client is solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining all necessary permissions and consents from individuals being filmed.

  • Informing attendees, participants, or employees that filming will take place.

  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and any applicable data protection or personality rights regulations.

  • Securing written consent where required (especially for commercial use of footage).

My Video Express acts as a content creator and processor of visual material but does not assume legal responsibility for obtaining participant consent unless explicitly agreed in writing.

If a third party later objects to the use of footage due to lack of consent, the client bears responsibility for any resulting claims, restrictions, or removal requests.
